Product in the best condition and worth buying
It rests on four winding feet and acanthus leaves that come together to form the stove holder. The base itself rests on four small feet in turned ebony.
The body of the samovar is united with wide grips formed from acanthus leaves. The faucet is also born from the belly in a bouquet of acanthus leaves.
A large torus of crossed ribbons initiates the upper part of the body which narrows to the lid. A fretel in the shape of a pine cone crowns the room.
The alcohol stove is in plain metal with projections, with friezes of pearls and nets.
The samovar is hallmarked:
. In full: Debain / Paris
. Hallmark of silver metal: a bird (swan?) with the name Debain.
It is a superb piece, very imposing and massive with a superb Louis XVI repertoire combining the very detailed work of acanthus leaves and plain polished metal beaches, the whole contrasting admirably to hang or reflect the light.
