2 Different Salt Advertising Pencil Clips Toppers Morton’s Leslie Morton.
Item is a lot of two different pencil clips that were meantto slip on to the top of a standard non-mechanical pencil to allow it to becarried in a shirt pocket or in a pocket protector.
Both are celluloid.
One is from Leslie Salt and is a red backgroundwith white block letters saying LESLIE PLAIN OR IODIZED SALT in two differentsized fonts.
Item is .75” in diameterand 1.5” in length.
Has Fred S Bain S.F.on the rim curl.
Celluloid front isVery Good to Very Good Plus with no damage to the celluloid.
Silver metal reverse shows some wear and hasan area where the silvering has completely worn away.
Also has a loss of silvering inside of thecurved piece that slips over the pencil. Does not detract from the overallappearance.
The other is from Morton’sSalt and has a white background with blue block letters saying MSORTON’S SALTaround the perimeter and IT POURS in white block letters on a blue backgroundcentered.
Item is .75” in diameter and1.5” in length.
Has Lou Fox Chgo on therim curl. Morton clip is Very Good with no celluloid cracks or breaks, but doeshave some foxing around the perimeter and some dings.
Has a celluloid clip to the reverse rim curl.Silver metal reverse does show some scratching.
