    VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN JAPANESE SILVERPLATE TEA COFFEE POTS CREAMER SUGAR BOWL TONGS
    The featured lot includes a Japanese modernist silver plated tea/coffee set with distinctive fin-like tops and heat-insulating black plastic spacers. All pieces are marked with "Silver Plated Japan". Here are the details:
    1. Coffee Pot. About 10 3/4" from the floor to the tallest points of the spout.
    2. Tea Pot that has the same shape as the one above and is approximately 9 1/2" at the tallest points.
    3. Creamer that is about 4 5/8" from the floor to the tallest points of the spout.
    4. Sugar Bowl with a lid. About 3 1/2" tall without the cover.
    5. Sugar cubes tongs that are approx. 4 7/8" long.
    All pieces shows some vintage wear like small scuffs, marks and scratches here and there as well as patina and tarnishing. If planned to be put in use, the interiors will need a good cleaning. There is also some silver loss exposing the base brass alloy, mostly on the handle of the tall coffee pot, some on the lid of the tea pot and possibly on few other small places.
