Antique English Silverplate James Dixon Sheffield Coffee Pot Georgian Styling

Description

We are pleased to offer an impressive silverplated coffee pot with ornate engraving and embossing; done in the Georgian style.  It was made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, England during the late 1800s.  It has a fluted, bulbous shape and an ebony finial.  The feet are pierced, giving it another unusual design detail.  It's a beautiful find.
Condition:
Very good - minor use scratches;  otherwise no silver wear or loss.  The finial is slightly crooked.  It has been hand polished so there will be no surprises.
Size:
9 1/2" tall to the top of the finial.
