ANTIQUE PAIR OF GORHAM SILVER PLATED CANDLESTICKS WITH ATTACHABLE ARMS AND BOBECHE
This is a very elegant pair of Gorham candlesticks.  They are incredibly unique and hint gently to a bygone era.  I think they are gorgeous.  Check out the simple pattern around the base and at the top of the candlesticks.  I think the flourishes add a look that is stately and sophisticated.  As you can see in the photos, the top section of the arms is removable.  When that is done the candlesticks alone measure just about 11 1/2 inches tall.  When you add the arms and bobeche the tallest section is about 16 1/2" tall.  The center section with the bobeche is 15" and is removable, but holds in the arms more securely.  The candlesticks are marked Plated by Gorham Manufacturing Co.   They have been slightly polished and at this point could use another go at it.
