Antique Reed & Barton 2856 - 7 Coffee / Tea Pot Repousse Silver Plate Beautiful

For sale is this very beautiful antique silver plated Reed & Barton Coffee /Tea Pot.  It is marked on the bottom MFG & plated by Reed & Barton 2856 / 7. Patent Applied For. It is in excellent antique condition.  Please remember that this coffee pot is not new. It is over 130+ years old and shows signs of wear consistent with age, gentle use and careful handling.  I purchased this coffee pot from a well known antiques dealer in Laguna Beach, California about 35 years ago and it has been in my China cabinet ever since. It has beautiful repousse work, florals and intricate detail work on the top and base of the pot. There is an ‘M’ or a ‘W’ in the center on one side.  The hinged lid works smoothly and perfectly.  There are a couple of areas where the plating is worn, but the pot is in original condition.  It has not been Re silvered or repaired.  Measurements are approx and are: from bottom of base to top of finial is 12.5”; from tip of spout to middle of handle is 9.5”.
