Konpeito, or Kompeito by Kasugai.
Traditional sugar candy in Japan.
Konpeito is produced by repeatedly coating a sugar syrup over a core consisting of a grain of coarse sugar.
To make it 1cm diameter, it takes 10 days.
Sugar, grape, peach, apple and soda flavor are mixed.
We have Japanese snacks at the store.
