LUNT SILVERSMITHS SILVER PLATED ART DECO TEAPOT C: 1935

We are offering for your consideration an amazing, silver plated, Teapot that bears the hallmark of Lunt Silversmiths. The firm had its origins in 1880, with A.F. Towle & Sons Mfg. Company. In 1900, Towle & Sons failed. In 1901 the Rogers Lunt and Bowlen purchased the Towle tools and trademark. In 1935, the company used the trademark Lunt Silversmiths. The piece measures 9.50 inches high, 11.50 inches wide from handle to spout and 4.50 inches long x 3.50 inches wide at the base. The teapot has an elongated spout and a black, curved flowing handle made from a composite material. Panels decorated at the top and bottom with a lovely, etched, drape design provide for a handsome look to the teapot. A slightly curved cover is topped with a finial that resembles an upside down pine cone with a ball on the end. The piece is in

with no outer silver wear to mention, no dents and no repairs. The inside bottom has slight thin line of wear around the bottom edge but there is no rust or pitting. The perfect teapot to add elegance to Tea Time with family or friends.
