    Description

    An empty, round cardboard box from "Morton" salt.  Box is 5 1/2 in. high, 3 1/4 in. diameter.  Paper label around box.  Off-white colored box with white lettering on a blue and gold colored label.  On one side of the box is a picture of the 1921 Morton girl.  Printed under her picture is "When It Rains It Pours" and the year "1921".  Printed on the front of the box is "Morton Free Running Iodized Salt" and "This salt supplies iodide, a necessary nutrient".  "It Pours", "Net Wt. 26 oz. (l lb. 10 oz.)  Metal opening spout on top of box.  Shows some wear from use and age.
