    Description

    We are offering for your consideration a Victorian, silver plated, Teapot or Coffee Pot that though unmarked shows the quality workmanship in its design and form of a prestigious American silver manufacturer in the 1880’s. The pattern number, “750” is noted on the bottom signifying an early one. The piece measures 12.50 inches high, 8.75 inches wide from handle to spout and 4.50 inches in diameter at the round pedestal base. A striking scroll design in the ribbed sections has been etched on the front and back of the piece and encircles a medallion in the middle that could be monogrammed if one chooses to do so. The ornately decorated pedestal base includes a beaded design and adds a handsome visual appeal to the piece. A stylized bird spout is decorated with Acanthus leaves and a bar design. The curved handle has two insulators attached to help the handle stay cool when serving. An Acanthus leaf and bar design highlights the handle. An ornate upper rim and a domed cover with an ornate, topiary style finial complete this lovely piece. The Victorian piece is in
