GORGEOUS Reed And Barton Coffee Tea Set Service 4 Piece Set Winthrop Pewter P1795 VGC VTG. This tea/coffee service is in very good condition for its age. The tallest coffee pot has a ding on each side, see photos. It is otherwise in very good condition. The second tea pot has one tiny ding and a few superficial scratches that are only noticeable up close. The sugar and creamer have superficial scratches, no noticeable dings. This tea service is pewter and is very good quality. You can tell by its weight that it is well made. It has a gorgeous gleam to it, not characteristic of most pewter items I’ve come across. The decorative pumpkin vine on top of the tea pot and sugar lid are in excellent condition. See photos for condition.
Tallest coffee pot is almost 13”H. Teapot is 11”H, sugar is 9”H with lid on, creamer is 7”H.
This tea service is absolutely beautiful. And it seems to be tarnish resistant. I polished it so it would be nice and shiny for its lucky future owner (I had kept it in storage for a few months), but the polish rinsed clean when I rinsed off the sponge. How nice, a gorgeous tea set you don’t have to perform much upkeep on!
