The Quadruple Silverplated Set includes 3 Graduated footed pots for Coffee, Tea and Hot Water - 12.75", 12", & 11.5" tall - and matching covered Sugar Bowl, Creamer and Waste Bowl. Each piece is marked (very hard to read most marks): HARTFORD SILVERPLATE CO. - 1401 - QUADRUPLE PLATE. The Hartford Silverplate Co. operated in Hartford, Connecticut from 1882-1894.
The tray is a lovely companion piece with a similar design. Marked: 24 - TAUNTON SILVERPLATE Co. - 450 - TRIPLEPLATE. It is a rectangular shape with handles on both ends, supported on 4 openwork feet. Measurements: 27" handle to handle, 24"x18" outer edge, surface is about 20"x14". The face is decorated with more aesthetic elements including 4 large Birds - monogrammed in the center - and finished around the outer rim with a lovely embossed design of scrolling flowers & birds. Taunton Silverplate Co. was in business in Taunton, Massachusets from 1853-1859.
