Vintage Silver plated Coffee/Chocolate Pot Wood Handle Marked

Vintage Silver plated Coffee/Chocolate Pot Wood Handle Marked. It has wire which seems to be holding the hinge together, however it looks as though the original pin is still in there, so I'm not really sure what the wire is in there for. Is marked 1745 on the bottom with potentially two letters mm but each m is not connected so it looks like two upside down these. And there looks like there are two other letters DC. All of these numbers and letters are etched in. I see 2 dents and tried showing them in the photographs. The second one shown is actually a series of three small pinhead dents.I don't actually see anymore but I'm not going to guarantee it because if it was cleaned or whatever a small one might show up. I have no idea if the 1745 refers to the year or not. I did a little research and did find similar pots like this that were valued in the five to 0 range. Please, if you know something, educate me. Most of the pots I found had Hallmark or marking imprints not etched. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and thank you for looking.
