    Description

    Full round lithographed (not a paper label) tin container of Ward's Allspice Spice, measuring 2" in diameter and 5 1/4" tall.  This is the 4 ounce size and is full of Allspice.  Wonderful scene on the front of the tin showing Asian sail boats and green palm trees.  There are two versions of this tin as far as I can tell.  The later version says it was made by The Ward Co.  My version, earlier in time, was made by Dr. Ward's Medical Co.  Both version were made in Winona, Minn.  Both versions have the same image on the front.  The tin is in great condition, with a little minor wear on the black band at the top and a few small spots on the back, so the tin is not mint but I think it rates a strong 9.  There a few of these tins on ebay but I believe only 1 is the old version like mine and it is price higher than my tin.
